Plan 2009

Ok, here is the deal.

I want to get in shape, badly. I have been trying to make a lot of health decisions lately, drinking diet soda, walking to and from the bus for work and all that. But I seem to have hit a wall. And don't feel like I am getting anymore in shape.

So, after listening to SciFri, and there segment on making attainable new years resolutions. I came up with a new years resolution that I am 100% dedicated to seeing through in '09.

Go to the GYM 156 times in 09.

That comes out to 3 times a week, which has been a schedule I have tried and liked in the past.  The way I figure it, I have something I can chew off in bite sized chunks.  Something that I can't "slip" on, because I can go more often to catch up if I need too.

Some things I consciously didn't include.  What I do at the gym, or how long I go.  What days I go on, etc.  I wanted to keep this simple, and will be focusing on those things as ways to get that up to 156 trips this year.  But I figured all the good stuff would come without me trying for them, if I could just go on a regular basis.

So wish me luck.  As I post this, I just got back from trip number 3.

I hope everyone else is starting off there 2009 with a good resolution!
